(ANS) The most commonly recommended vitamins to take during pregnancy are :- Vitamin C, Folic Acid and Vitamin B, Iron (iron to ensure good haemaglobin levels in the blood) & Calcium to help maintain good bone density in your own body as woman do loose alot of calcium during pregnancy.

Taking folic acid and iron is mandatory and you'd better start taking folic acid 3months before pregnancy.
Taking extra levels of vit. A and D is harmful for fetus.
Dear friend, just try to take enough amounts of natural foods and vegetables instead of extra supplements.
