My husband finally has a day of tommorow and I am wondering what could we do in Los Angeles? All we ever do is the Movies, any neat suggestions???

The Getty Museum (located off the 405 freeway @ Getty Center Drive)
3rd Street in Santa Monica has shops, restaurants, street performers and is near Pacific Pier if you want to take in some rides near the ocean (take the 10 west to Lincoln and then follow the signs to the Boardwalk)
Exposition Park at USC has a few different museums - Natural History, African American, Science Museum
The Pier in Hermosa Beach - you can rent bikes, Rollerblades, etc or just sit outside and soak up the sun (off the 405 take Artesia west, then left on PCH and a right down Pier Ave to the beach
Long Beach Aquarium - this area has really been built up with shops, restaurants, etc (it's near the end of the 710 freeway)

See a play, go to museums, walk the promenade with impromptu entertainment, observatory and hiking - tons of stuff

Oh my goodness, there is SO MUCH to do I wouldn't even know where to begin. You can go to movies anywhere. Why don't you explore a new neighborhood, go down to the ocean, go on a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. My head is spinnung from all the choices. I guess it depends on what neighborhood you are in or how far you want to travel too.

2. The pubs (or may be clubs) where there are continuous laughter (/commedy) shows.

why don't you go clubbin', get your husband jealous by freakin some other dude on the dance floor...should be a fun night for you and him.
