A rally art is just a Lancer with some stickers....140-160 hp..... I don't know many cars that aren't faster..... The SER is geared for more aggressive driving.... the oz is for the person that likes the way an evo looks but could care less about performance.... no point in racing those cars....

It also depends on who knows how to really drive the car they are trying to race. If you are so geared to zoom why not get into the SCCA do some real comp driving against people that know what they are doing in a controlled environment.

I use to street race things you would never imagine. However today I wouldn't even consdier it. Its not safe.

Join the club take some courses. You can race your car on a track with others or in solo. Its actually more fun and last longer. If you are good you advance in the ranks and maybe you will go somewhere with it.

Watch out some Lancers have been tricked up. Get the guy's name and check the drag race tracks web site for test and tune nite times and see before you get dusted. I work on Nissans for a living and if you think a 175 hp motor makes 200 with header exhaust and intake go right ahead. With out extensive dyno tune up time and another set of camshafts valve springs you might be wanting for 9,000 rpms.
