First off you need to consider why your dog is constipated!
Has it eaten a cooked bone in the last few days?
Has it stopped eating?
If its an elderly dog does it have cancer?

If none of these apply and your dog is not suffering with pain from constipation (inwhich case take to vet for an enaema)
Try adding fibre to diet eg pal dog food, psylium husks.

have you tryed to gentle pull it ,if you have and it wont move you will have to take the dog to a vet as it could be tangled on something and you dont want to cause it undue stress ,,oh dear poor thing ,,,but i wouldnt feed it anything else in case it causes back up in the internal organs,it could kill the dog ,vet is the only thing in this case

i would put him with a bathtub with warm water, and hold his butt down in the warm water. Make sure the temperature is not too warm. Make sure to give the dog water to drink after.
