my boyfriend of 2 years and I got into this really big fight two weeks ago. i saw him on saturday when he invited me to his sister's house to celebrate a late christmas. he gave me a hug when i came in but didn't touch me much after that. he talked to me a little bit and allowed my daughter to sit in his lap.as we were loading stuff into our cars-i asked him how long he would be mad at me for-he said he wasn't mad-just didnt feel good (had slight cold). i told him i could tell he was avoiding me. he said i put him under alot of stress and he would talk to me when he felt better-he hugged and kissed me goodbye,said he loved me and left.
didn't hear from him again till today (3 days later) eventhough tired to call and email him-he ignored me. finally emailed me today and said i had really made him fall off his feet and he was just having trouble finding his way back. he said we would talk eventually. is he going to leave me or would he have done so already?

Hard to say. might be useful to know what the fight was about and what led up to it.
One thing im totally sure of though. He doesn't want to leave you.
Whatever it was that caused the fight he is looking for a sign that it won't happen again. And probably hoping that you will show him that. You know very well there is a reason he is being distant and its not just cuz he has a cold.
Guys really are easy to please ya know. You just have to show them how you feel about them and frequently ( im not talking just about sex ) , show them you appreciate them. Do that and a guy will do anything for you.

I think there's a lot of thoughts going through his head right now and he is probably debating on whether staying or leaving the relationship...one thing that I can say, is that communication is the best way to fixing a problem and that you need to discuss your problems with him, when he's ready. He did say that you would talk eventually, so give him a few days til you hear from him again.

well i think that the fight got him pretty upset.Always expect the unexpected with guys.Maybe he is just trying to cool off and set his mind straight and in order to do that he doesnt need to be influenced by you or anyonelse so just be patient with him okay and if he lives you dont depress take it as a lesson.Of course it is going to be hard to get over him after two years but we cannot force people love us.
you should let him be if he was really yours he will come back to you but if he doesnt come back then he was never yours.dont be upset take everything as a challenge
