A coworker borrowed a movie for like 2months I ask for it many times to no avail. I gave her the silent treatment and then she gave me an email with this: " I was smart enough to figure out that your silent treatment today, or should I say your childish display today, had to do with your precious movie. So, I will have your movie in the office tomorrow. Please do not mistake my bringing it back as a sign that I was saddened to have you ignore me today. On the contrary it was one of the best days I have had at work for a long time so please, feel free to continue on that path."

I don't think I would speak to her. She sounds like someone who has their head up their own behind. Snobbish, selfish and hateful. Don't let it get to you. When or should I say, IF she returns it, politely tell her in a condescending voice, "Thank you for FINALLY returning this movie that I was kind enough to lend you, TWO MONTHS AGO". She'll have to get over herself one day and face up to the fact that she was the one in the wrong not only for keeping your movie but, treating you that way and sending such a snotty email.

what you should have done was sternly ask for your movie back. if she didn't, you should have went to her house and asked for it back.

what she did was childish by sending you an email like that. "on the contrary it was one of the best days i have had to work for a long time so please, feel free to continue on that path"??? please. obviously she was more worked up by your silent treatment than she says or she wouldn't have gone to great lengths to say something like that.

the moral of this story - don't lend your **** out to anyone.

She is a boot for making you behave that way, she could of brought it back when you first asked, in fact when she was done with it she should of brought it back, tell her that your soooooooooo happy she had a good day at work as it seemed to make her mind clearer and she remembered to bring you your tape finally and you wish her many more good days at work.

The moral to this story is do not loan out your property to slim balls like her. It is fairly clear that she is not a person who appreciates the fact you loaned her the movie but is now mad that you ignored her and only shows her short comings by sending you the email.
Do yourself a big favor and continue to ignore her she doesn't deserve friends like you.
