1 Timothy 3:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Jesus is god manifest in the flesh having the spirit.
the holy spirit isnt a person. it never was. i have no idea how it got to be such a popular interpretation that the spirit was an entity. its a quality, its an idea, but it is such a powerful idea that the translators from greek to english decided to put a capital HS on it.
no, lorene, those are more misinterpretations... its not the love OF the spirit, meaning that the spirit possesses love, but the love of THE SPIRIT meaning that individuals love IT. think about the phrase "love of money" by your reasoning, money is a living entity.
the HOLY GHOST as mentioned in the book of Acts is Jesus himself. remember, he's dead. the Spirit and the Ghost are two completely seperate things.

5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."
This is from the King James version but it has been ommitted from the newer modern versions of the bible because it doesn’t fit in with ecumenicism.
Young's Literal Translation includes it as well.

The notion of the trinity is an invention of the Catholic church.
It is not based on scripture.
You and I are also sons and daughters of God. What made Jesus so special is that he was willing to do God's will instead of his own.
God is in every single atom in the multiverse (according to the kabbalah there are 10 dimensions in the universe). This means God is present in both of us Just the same as he was present in Jesus. the Christians like to say Jesus was the ONLY son of God. This is complete nonsence.
There is only one chapter in the whole new testament where Jesus prodesses to be Deity (the third chapter of John). All other places; he only calls himself "the son of man" meaning he was mortal like you and me.
John 14:12 he said that we could do the works he did.
In reality; there is only one being God. We are all interconnected at some level. The Hawai'ians called it aka (or spirit matter) If you still your mind sufficiently, and have compassion for someone suffering; you can actually feel what the other person feels, and experiences. I have experienced this myself many times during energy healing

This is the flawed argument that many Christians have... It doesn't make sense, but that's why faith is needed!
If it doesn't make sense, and you still want to believe in God well then shop around
There are many different faiths, try Judaism, Try Islam, Islam believes that Jesus -PBUH- was a prophet
But if you believe in the day of Judgment then you know that you'll be questioned
And if all you have to say is that I believed this or that because my local priest told me it was true
God can tell you to go to you local priest and see if he can help you!
And he can ask you why didn't you use your head?
Another question:
Where in the bible does Jesus say "I am God" and "Worship me"
If you find the answer then you will know, from your owb Bible, why Muslims believe he was a prophet -PBUH-
I hope that was helpful

.You would need to read more then one verse. If you really want to know read John-the whole book.Jesus said" I and my father are one."
You will also need to pray. Most of the Bible is written only for Christians to understand. As the Holy Ghost give us understanding.1 John ,Colossians 2:2,I Corinthian 12:36.Some added reading.<><
Father,Son,Holy Ghost.
Remember the Holy Ghost is so important to God speaking evil of him is the only unforgivable sin.

Note that in john 14 verse 25 and 26 it seperates god and the
holy ghost as god sending the holy ghost. In reference it seperates the son of god by paraphasing what the holy ghost is doing. I believe in the holy ghost more than the diliverence of jesus. Which is probably not a good thing. But I recieved the
powerfulness of the holy ghost. I also believe that jesus god and the holy ghost all work as one. thank you. from the that never believed

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Jhn 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
Jhn 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Jhn 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
Jhn 10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.
Jhn 10:30 I and [my] Father are one.
Isa 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding.
There's plenty more - why do you doubt?

No place. That was taken from the Pagan religions by the Roman Catholic Church when it tried to get the Pagans to convert to Christianity by takeing in their rites and rituals. Also their idea of gods and goddess that have triple forms and powers.
