The stomach is an internal organ. That "pouch" as you call it a part of the abdomen and some women get that from carrying children and having C-sections. The surgery changes the metabolism. And if your friends don't have anything better to do than choose names for unimportant things you should get jobs or do something constructive and not criticize what you don't understand.
