If you are that scared of the dentist you need to find one that administers sedation for any treatment. There are lots of dentists able to do this. A male colleague at work used to be physically sick before a dentist trip. you don't say how you are going to travel to the surgery? Be careful of taking any drugs if you are to drive or even walking or taking public transport you could get a dizzy spell. Have you tried telling your dentist how you feel. A lot of them are really sympathetic to nervous patients and can spend time reassuring you. I used to be petrified but having to look brave for my kids then finding a fantastic patient dentist worked for me and now I go in with no qualms. Good luck, you are not alone.

Never increase the dose of your perscription without consulting a doctor... especially if it's a narcotic! The dentist will give you other pain relievers to help you with your dental visit today. Just make sure you tell your dentist of how you are feeling and if you are uncomfortable.

I wouldn't take any incase he gives you something and it reacts with it. If you have to have any treatment you can get an injection off the dentist which is called twilight. This makes you like someone has had to much to drink but are still awake (not that you know it). I have had it and you will let them do anything to you.

What do you take it for panic? I would call the doctor first and ask. Otherwise take 2 or 3 maybe you will wake up in time to go!

Fear not. Dental treatment today is quite Painless.
Just take a few deep breaths and off you go.

You ask medical questions to god knows who? You have no idea of ho is answering you and of their qualifications or lack thereof. I really can't believe you sir. How can you do that? Go ask your doctor.
Would you trust your butcher to service your car? I think not sir.
