You cannot apply the parameters applicable to Human to God. Doing a mistake is a feature of man. Once you start applying such things to God, then that ceases to be a God. God is above everything which is within our knowledge. We all say Viral Infection, Bacterial infection in our life. Do u know what is the size of a Virus. 1 part in 3 X 10 power 30. Can u imagine this? You know how far the edge of universe from us. 4 billion light years. Can u imagine a light year? In Maths we all say Limit tends to Infinity without which maths is not there. What is this infinity. It is not God but Human knowledge cant perceive this. Still we use it from Secondary school. There is nothing physically called Cold. It is just absence of heat. When we say we reach minus 300 Kelvin it is only the heat absent at that point. Like there is nothing bad it is only absence of Good. So Handicapped persons can be taken care of by other abled persons more than they do for themselves. Whoever dies after the age of 60 are handicapped in some functions? Diabetes, Heart Problems are becoming more common at 30's only. How these are taken care by us.

This is a situation for everyone to ponder and understand what love is all about. There is absolutely no point in wondering whether they are God's creations or not, or, why did He create / still creating them and all such questions. I believe you have a lot of self pity in you. Kill it. If you can do something to help them without looking into the why's and what's, do it. If you can make someone else also do it - even better. But best of all would be - NOT looking at the why - please rather think HOW you can help them. Thank you !

There is a reason for everything. It may seem like a negative to us, but every outcome has positive results. I have ADD but I don't consider it a mistake, I wouldn't be the person I am today if I had a normal attention span and I like who I am. The reasons that people turn out the way they do may not be obvious to us, but that doesn't mean that they are mistakes. So I suppose to answer your question, the divine creates mentally handicapped people deliberately.

He made them on purpose. Have you ever wished that you hadn't learned something the hard way, or hadn't had to experience heartache, or longed for the days of your youth and innocence because the world was such a better place from your childlike perspective? God couldn't let everyone have that innocence, but He granted it to some. They may be teased by "normal people" because they're different, but even so, the world that they live in is so much better than ours. They don't see the murders, the national disasters, the vicious politics, the rapes; they're clueless to all those horrors, they're Protected.

God does not make mistakes, therefore, disabled people are not mistakes! They are perfectly fine. In fact if you ever get to know a person who is disabled you might learn that we "abled" people are the ones with many if not more mistakes then them.
There was a blind man in the Bible & he was born blind. Jesus said that he was born blind for the glory of God, because Jesus healed Him & received the glory. However, sometimes people born with disabilities are from sins that parents have done (drugs, alcohol, etc.). So yes, sometimes they are deliberately born that way....but they are still loved & cherished by God.

Several years ago I used to work on copy machines for a living. I went to a school (for disabled children) when I walked in the front door, a young girl about 15 ran over to me and smiled and hugged me, very lovingly. I just stood there with a smile, and hugged her back and was speechless. Looking back at that experience, I was the disabled one. I can fix copy machines, but socially I am a geek. I have a nephew who is 38 years old and he is thought to have a mind of a teen. I just saw him again during Christmas, he is polite, kind, clean, has good habits, and loves taking care of his mother and grandmother. He is a loving man. He needs assistance, because our society considers him unable to work. We in general are very closed minded, us "normal" people. God Bless <3

No, in fact I think the opposite is correct. Mentally strong people are a mistake in God's creation. We have hitler, Mussolini or maybe Saddam or Bush (I don't know who is wrong?) These people are mentally strong but responsible for the lives of so many people.

We hindus believe in rebirth (punarjanma). so you will get the punarjanma as per the the Sin or mistakes committed by you during the previous birth. Hence it is not mistake of GOD, it is the mistake done by you during the previous birth. besides the the sin committed by one's parents also can make him to suffer, because his suffering is indirectly the suffering of ones parents
