Find a shelter or haven for birds to donate it or even the Humane society/ASPCA/ SPCA..........there is always a need..........and regular birds may not be able to eat that particular type of food so it might be a bad idea to disperse on the ground........All birds do not have the same diet.

Yes dear. Give it to the humane society. Or to a local zoo. Maybe even ask a veterarian if he knows of someone that might need it.And if that doesn't pan out take it to a pet store. If the owner is a reasonable person, he just might take it as some money off a new best freind for you.

I am sorry for your loss. Dealing with the loss of an amazing pet must be hard, (yeah it is hard, we go through so many emotions), Keep his food for a while, if you can not bring yourself to bring another tiel in your home, put the bird seed outside for others that are struggling to survive have some food. It is winter now and I am sure they would be grateful. Again I am sorry for your loss, my 1st tiel is 10 and I am old, I do not know how I would react if he had to leave my world.

You could contact the RSPCA or local equivalant as I am sure that they would have birds in their care. Alternatively you could spread it around outside for wild birds (depending on the type of birds in your area.

You could also join a group called Freecycle. It's where people get together and post items they don't want anymore or need. You can join a group local to your area. i'm sure there is someone in your area that may be able to use it!

Find a local shelter/rescue and donate it! Most have animals other than dog and cats.

Go to any large parking lot where pigeons hang out and feed them.
