Depends on the state you now live in. Go to the store where the Tasers are being sold and ask them.

Tasers are not firearms therefor do not apply to all firearms laws, however it is still a weapon so you will need a permit for concealed carry. Your best bet is to talk to a dealer or even call your local police headquarters and ask how it would apply. Most felonies are deemed inactive after 7 years so I doubt that would have any merit on carrying a less-than-leathal weapon, but best to be safe than get in trouble.

It depends greatly on which state you are in. Where I live you can only get a concealed pistol permit. There is no such thing as a concealed weapons permit let along a concealed taser permit.
A taser in most states is considered a non lethal stun device and not ordinarily a lethal weapon. However again you should look at the states website to find any specifics as to your situation.

taser will not sell you a gun with a felony on record.(the ones they sell to the public) try to have it dischared first, or buy one second hand. as far as i can find , this is the only restriction i have found
CITY RESTRICTIONS:
OHIO: LYNN COUNTY/CEDAR RAPIDS: Any stun gun in public requires the user to have a concealed weapons permit. By literal translation, Capt. Schwartz (ph: 319-398-3911) states that technically, this includes even "snowballs" and "Stunning Devices"
NOTE:
Stunning Devices can be used, however, in the place of business or at home.
they will not issue somone a felony a conseled wepons permit, as far as i know.

is this for genuine? different than for that, this is needless to say a case of 'the weapon of final hotel' starting to be 'the weapon of first decision', that's strictly what happens in each case the place regulation officers are issued with some new toy. This occurred with capsicum spray, for which training movies have been shown the place it replaced into in simple terms used as a final hotel against a threatening attacker - certainly that it immediately grew to grow to be a generic undertaking used on each occasion a cop felt like it. i'm a company opponent of over-equipping police with offensive weapons like this. My uncle replaced right into a cop for over 40 years, and not in any respect had the would desire to apply intense tension. He replaced right into a stable defender of infants, too. Too many television police officers those days, and that they have forgotten what their interest is approximately.

Sure, ah, just take the taser gun with you, go to local police, tell them you need a permit to carry the taser gun, be sure and have your legal ID with you.

Tasers are NOT firearms, and I would say it is ok, but to be on the safe side, I'd check with your local authorities.
