My friend, although i love her is not very mature when it comes to relationships. she has two kids by a guy she had been with for three years ("by mistake") and she is only 20. Bottom line, i love her but in relationships she brings the drama.

Anyway she asked me to hook her up with my cuz n when i hesitated she asked if it was because i thought she was gonna get pregnant by him. i couldn't say anything after that to lead her to believe that i thought she wasn't good enough. she is a great person but she makes horrible choices and i dont want her to get my cuz tangled in drama. what do i do? should i do anything?

1. Tell her you spoke to your cousin, but he is not interested. (has a girlfriend, is gay, not looking etc.) Use whatever excuse you think she will believe. You can even say that he doesn't like kids, or dating women who have them.

2. Tell her you love her too much to put her in the position of going out with your cuz, as he is no good, gay, a player (whatever) Use an excuse that she will believe.

3. Tell her that although you love her LOTS, you love your cousin too and do not want him involved in her dramas as he is a sensitive person (exaggerate is you must) who you are afraid will get hurt. Also tell her that you don't like mixing friends with family, as you value your friendship and are afraid that something will come between you both if the relationship does not work.

4. Tell her the truth. She is too mixed up for you to want her to tangle your cuzn in her web.

I think your friends just needs a guy to take care of her, that's why she makes all those bad choices.
she's young and overwhelmed with 3 kids and no man to help out.
You should have a talk and tell her that she doesn't need to take on a new man, coz this won't solve her problems but she needs to take care of her family first and get grip on everything in her life before searching for a new love.
Tell her that as her friend you will help out until she gets her life back together. It's tough I know but she already made the mistakes, now it's time to assume responsibility

definitely! you are absolutely right not wanting her to mess ur cousin up. i guess the best thing to do is nex time she tells u about ur cousin or evenany other guy she likes tell her politely but firmly to first improve her life. she is only 20 and she already has two kids to look after. it was her fault that she wasn't careful and now she has to pay for it. remind her to think of her kids first before thinking of a new relatioship. she has no right to make her kids live with a long list of step fathers.

know what i know iot sounds drastic but the best thing i can suggest for your friend is give up her children for adoption. i know it sounds selfish btu it is the best for evry one. the kids will get a home were they will be loved and taken care of and you friend will get a second chance to improve her life.

Dont hook her up, tell her to hook herself up, warn him about her drama and let him make the decision on whether or not he wants to talk to her.
