I can feel your pain. My neighbors dogs do the same thing, but no, don't let your snake eat it. That's just wrong on many levels. Try talking to her again and if that doesn't work, call animal control and see if they can do anything about the dog wandering loose, digging up your yard and barking constantly. Good luck!

I can sympatize with you. It seems that in almost every neighborhood there is at least one inconsiderate pet owner who is too lazy, crass, irresponsible or worthless to care for and control their pets.
Fools like that lady are the reason that in some towns people may only keep 2 animals for pets by law, even though the vast majority of people who keep 3 or 4 keep them in good health and without annoying their neighbors. It's like the idiots who don't pick up after their dogs and then the 90% of the population who does clean after their dogs are restricted from walking their dogs in the park to keep the 10% that won't out.
There was a dog in our neighborhood that barked anytime that he was not sleeping or eating. His owners seemed not to notice their dog, barking loudly at all hours of the day and night. Their yard was also full of crap and you could smell it everywhere in the summertime. They had the nerve to get angry when the dog warden visited them and told them to clean up their act.
I don't fault the dogs, I fault the owners. Dogs are just animals and if they're not taught any better or if the owner doesn't clean up after them they become a nuisance. If I were you, I'd start calling animal control. The woman might start caring for her dog better if she gets fined often enough, and if she doesn't they may eventually take it from her and find it a home where the new owners will train and control the dog. If she's not accepting responsibility for her dog's behaviors, she's likely equally irresponsible in caring for her dog in other ways, like vet visits and immunization and wormings. A dog which stands in the yard barking for hours and whch runs loose tearing up other people's property isn't receiving the interaction with it's owner that it needs and is at risk for getting hit by cars and getting hurt by a whole lot more. It's just plain neglected.
One thing's for sure, when a lazy slob owns an animal both that animal and the neighbors suffer for it.

I can see the funny side to this but no.....don't do it.....your snake could get hurt. You will have to live with knowing you did it. And the lady probably loves her little yapping terror.
Ask her again to keep the dog on her property and let her know the dogs barking bothers you. She's probably used to it & dosn't even hear it anymore.
If this fails, contact your local council, ask about the laws in regards to noise polution and the right to "peaceful enjoyment" of your property. You may need to put in an offical complaint. I also found articals about barking dogs, anti-bark collars and kept slipping them into their letterbox!
And........if it's bitten you, put in a complaint! What if it bites a little kid or little old lady!! If it bites people it's not very well trained.

lol. Bad idea. Very bad idea.
1.) It won't work
2.)The woman would probaly put the police on you (it's possible to do that, btw)
3.) Does the dag bark at night? Check with the police, if it barks and keeps you up untill after 11, you could call the police and put in a compliant of disturbing the peace. We did that once, and it worked. The --- next door made sure her mutts were quiet. I know how you feel, I'm more of a cat person.

Apparently you need to be educated!
1) small dogs aren't useless, even them yapping as you call it can alert their owners as to a potential intruder.
2) to call some body a fat slob is inexcusable even if she is overwieght, how dare you!
3) yes it would be bad and if you do do it I would hope that you are reported for possibly animal cruelity
4) are you permitted to have such a large reptile in the city limits as most cities don't allow something like to as a pet.

Can't pick your neighbors! But she has every right to having a dog as your do to having a snake. In some states if you harm someones dog or pet, they can take you to court and get damages, as the pet is their property.
If you carry out your "plan", I do hope your snake dies. It would serve you right!

hahaha.. i'd say you would have a lot of explaining to do once the dog went missing... so i suggest you just tel the lady to keep her mutt locked up in the house as far away from you as possible or you wont be held responsible for your actions or some s**t like that. its all about mind games.. other than that good luck with whatever you do.
