Spirits are conjured up all the time in magic, why can´t they be used on this level....

because the spirits conjured up are in the conjurers mind, and that person has to be spiritually connected with the spirit, it would be too hard to find spirits emotionally connected to all of the hostiles... dont you think?

Ummmm......maybe because they are dead? Spirits are not love ones, they are demonic forces. Magic is also something God warns us about...to stay away from it. Even if you could summons the dead to help fight in wars, I know I wouldn't want my loved ones doing the fighting, just to be killed again. That sounds cruel.

As you say it, they are summoned all the time. They have better things to do than fight wars. Someone should conjure GW ;-) But I fear he has nothing better to do.
