The only thing that mends a broken heart is time and how much time, depends on you. Try to do things that don't remind you of the other person until you feel emotionally and spiritually fit to do so. Trying not to think of the person doesn't make it any better either. If you do think of the person just let your mind flow because, your brain is trying to process the feeling out to let you move own with your life, trust me I've been there, brother. Your mind knows what it is doing.

Broken hearts are so awful. Time will do the healing. In the meantime, spend time with your friends, who you've probably neglected, and stay active. Alone time is too much time to ruminate and grieve. Also, try thinking of all the things you don't like about this person. When grieving, we tend to view them as having been saints. Think of all the things that you have gained by not having this person in your life...even the little things, like taking personal time for yourself to paint your toenails, or, in the opposite case, to play some hoop with the guys again. Keep looking forward...don't look back. Your past is done. Your future gifts await you. When one door closes another one opens. Your have not lost anything. You have made room to gain.... good luck to you. this too shall pass.

no matter what u do - time is teh only one thing dat mends it completely when it is time. no matter how painful it may seem now.. or what u do.. to feel better.

u can definitely do without self pity and thinking what else u cud have done to avert the situation, retail therapy also works well..spend time with urself. and u may definittely have friends who would hoepfully understand ur needs , hang out or talk or just let u be even when out wit them.

take care man.

If i am answering with an adult, travel for about 2 weeks, you dont have to go anywhere special but get out the usual enviornment. get out, you'll return home brand new.

I broke up w/ my boyfriend who i deeply and truly loved. We were apart for months. But you know what that time apart actually helped us value ourselves and what we were doing wrong in our relationship. I got a plane, i went back with him and we are happily married.

no bullshit, no arguments AT ALL. We worked it out.

SOMETIME YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE BITTER, TO APPRECIATE THE SWEET.

Good luck i know you can make it. In this life humans love again and again and again, its the fact of life.

You need to move on, and think what you learned. What you could have done to make it better so it could help you in the near future when you find someone special.
