I've already lost 10 pounds and I want to maintain my current weight. I eat 1000 calories a day, and I want to increase it to at least 1200 calories a day. Would I be able to do that and maintain my weight? Will my body get used to burning 1200 calories a day naturally? My basic metabolic rate (I looked it up in the internet) is 1300 something.

Take note that I eat 1000 calories everyday, and I want to increase it because I want to eat more, about 200-300 calories increase. So if I eat 1200-1300 calories a day, I should be fine? Seriously?

I'm not 8. I'm a teenager. Please, I just don't want to gain weight anymore, I hope you're telling the truth.

You BMR only accounts for about 70% of your total daily caloric needs. So really you need a minimum or 1500 to 1750 calories to MAINTAIN weight. At 1200 you will continue to loose weight.

If you want to speed up your BMR eat 5 to 7 small meals a day at about 1600 total calories and you should be fine.

Seriously... yes. Unless your say... 8, you need more than 1200 calories to maintain weight.

read this introduction of the a program that explains why we eat in certain times and how to control it, so you can keep weight off permanently, by understanding how your mind relates to food.
