I personally eat a type of protein bar called "ProMax" (nope, not advertising it or anything), but it's great for a quick thing on the go. It's a lot better than your average energy bar and it has 20g of protein for it will fill your stomach.

Apples. They are very portable, you can eat one in a couple of minutes, don't need to be refrigerated all day, and tidy to carry around. Have enough sugar and vitamins to keep you going for the hour or hour and a half between being able to eat. Next choice would be granola bars but you have to drink some water with them.

I like Special K Vanilla Almond flavor, I just put a serving size in a ziplog bag and take it anywhere.
I also really like the Quaker Oats oatmeal snack bars, low calorie high fiber and fills you up while tasting good.

I'm guessing you're in college. Here's what I do. Go to the early lunch and get a baked potato, don't cut it or anything. Put it in your bag. By late afternoon whip that thing out, get some packets of ketchup and eat it like a giant jo jo mmmm mmmm

i prefer to eat foods which are energy-giving food..as a student we cant fight the feeling of tiredness and hunger specially in-between classes and when there's so much load to do...snacks like chocolates can make you alert and feel alive, also drinking coffee and tea has the same benefits.we can also take burgers.but what is best, is that we must not skip our breakfast because we really need it, for us to be able to cope with our studies and to feel better specially in the morning and it is useful for our math and logic subjects...and skipping breakfast can make you feel tired all day.and plus,it can make you obese, because your stomach will crave for much foods in the afternoon and evening...

I like to have cut up veggies (like carrots, cauliflower & broccoli) in a baggie & dip (you can find individual servings of dip at the grocer).
Other options: string cheese, can of slim fast (prefer the high protein), yogurt, and of course fresh fruit.

Fresh fruit, bread and water (avoid ready-to-eat snacks, they contain too much fat and sugar, when you eat them you have the feeling that you've eaten enough, but one hour later, you're hungry)
