I was thinking of sending flowers to my other relatives who were closer to her but I would rather send something that lasts longer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Why don't you visit instead. You all must have loved her. You have this in common. Why don't you share this. Maybe this is what Grandma would want? The closeness in your family that you CAN create will last your whole life. People grow older and die. It is up to the survivors to pick up the pieces and go on. Maybe you can help them or yourself by doing so, and it eliminates regrets.

I think a letter to show you care would be enough.
