Why do people address men as blokes, or dudes, or any of that? Does it really matter? "Chick" wasn't a derogatory term the last time I checked. Good night!

well, this is wat happened one fine day in the late 40's in america.. the presidents brothers sons childs cousin was walking in the huge empty forest area when he was viciously attacked by a young clan of aliens so the dude alien says "this chick me" bout his girlfriend so the presidents brothers sons childs cousin responds blankly" your girlfriends a chicken?" so the alien explains wat chick means in the 3rd world beyond.. it means.. cute beautiful and you show utmost respect when you call someone tht.. i donno how they communicated when they speak WAYYYYYYYYYYYY different languages but you cant deny they did.. so the presidents brothers sons childs cousin spread the news but it was'nt rediscovered until now in the modern world.. so my point is... my point is.. ummm.. well1 any ways heres another point for ya!
