In Islam they murder inocent people who convert to Christ, and why shouldn't they follow Jesus after all he is about love, compassion forgivness, and everything that is good. Even if the person is your own son, daughter, brother, sister, husband, wife etc they will kill them if they leave Islam and follow Jesus. Jesus said I am the way, truth and the light, and no one comes to the Father except through me. Since they have stepped from darkness to light, who do these Murderous Islamics think they are? Part of the comandments of God is Thou shall not murder. I can tell you, if Mohammad was alive during the time of Moses, Mohammad would have been stoned to death. Mohammad had so many wifes, he lost count and to marry a 9 year old is disgusting. He started so many wars, because they did not want to follow his ways. I do not blame they other people. If someone came up to me and said follow my ways or I will kill you, I would think he is the devil incarnate.Satan loves to kill, and steal.

and to destroy. Jesus said the thief only comes for those reasons. That is sad that even if it your own son you would have him killed for wanting to live for Jesus. Me if my daughter converted from christianity to Islam, I would not kill her but I would fear for her soul, but the choice would be hers, but I can tell you she is not going to do that. Because she loves Jesus too much. Jesus said if they persecute me, they will persecute you too. Jesus also said, if the world hates you, remember it hated me first. There are so many Muslems around the world who have come to faith in Jesus, through dreams and visions from Jesus, I know as I too have experienced that. they have left Islam and have now become Christians. Many more Muslmes are leaving Islam each day to follow Jesus, their Savior, and many millions more will do the same. It makes me sick to know that Islam kills there own flesh and blood if they become born again Christians, to me they are murderers. Islam is not peacfull at all

LOL, you are so funny!

You have to understand, Muslims believe they are the inheritors of Christians, purified because Christianity had become corrupt and stopped following the laws of God. So they in their minds, are following Gods commandments.

When Muhammad married the 9 year old, he did not consummate the marriage. At the same time he lived, in Europe, Men often married 8 to 12 year old girls, and did consummate their marriages! Shall we condemn all those of European descent for having ancestors who would now be considered paedophiles?

Stop looking at the world through a telescope. Stop ignoring those things in your own past that you now use to condemn others. Read your history, or be condemned to repeat the mistakes of the past.

No religion has ever killed anyone. Some people claiming to follow certain religions have killed people. As for the Crusades, they were in response to over 200 years of murderous islamic aggression. Why do you ignore the fact that the Crusades were a defensive action? Do you wish that the islamofascists would have succeeded in eliminating all Christians from Europe and even the whole world as was, and is, their states goal? Why do you think Christians have no right to defend themselves? I have read the koran. Apparently you have not. Start with 8:12 where the koran commands muslims to chop the head off of infidels, and remember that by islamic definition all non-muslims are infidels.Read the whole koran. You will find that the last half of it is full of violent commands, and by islamic law the later verses supersede the former. Surely one as erudite as you pretend to be knows this. I find it curious that while you claim to be a Christian your posts continually bash Christianity. Makes it hard for me to believe you are telling the truth when you claim to be Christian.

First of all I just want to say that Christianity is not perfect, no religion is. If that's what they (the muslems) believe then so be it, it may not be right in your eyes or others..I agree it's wrong to kill because of someone's believe system. But wars have been started because of christianity...Am I wrong? Before it became an all powerful religion it started out by killing those that did not believe, correct??

Believe what you want, I have no problem with that. I on the other hand don't believe in a god/gods. I will not give myself to believeing in one almighty ruler, no way. The bible was just a well writen book that people bought into believeing as the Truth, the light and the way. Sorry to far fetched!!!

Also, one last thing, your last statement in your question "If someone came up to me and said follow my ways or I will kill you"....Isn't that basicly Christianity? If you don't follow the ways of the church and Christ...you die in hell...hmmm

First it is Muslims not Muslems. Islam is about peace. Those that commit acts of violence in the name of Islam are not true Muslims. Read history and do some research. It is sad how people hold stereotypes as facts. IT doesn't say in Islam to kill those that convert to a different religion just like it doesn't say in Christianity to go on crusades and kill people but that didn't stop the church either. There are extremists out there that don't represent their faith in any way or form.

I think while some of your judgment is clouded because you are frustrated, I think you are totally right!

there are so many reasons why one can be killed in the name of Islam,it makes it very difficult to accept. That in your face mentality is way over the top,and the fact that if you should be of another religion you are plain and simple not worthy.make no mistake, there are other religions that are the same way , but a death penalty is not part of their plan. The contradictions are incredible,I have asked Islam questions before but never got a credible respectable answer.that is unfortunate, because while I am curious about certain things they see it as an insult,I mean how dare you question anything.I have no ill will against any one but the killing is disgusting.

How many people were killed in the name of Christianity but that stopped.Islam still kills.

"You're American? Oh, your husband must be from the Middle East."
"But you weren't raised that way"
"You better watch out for those men, I saw that movie."
"But it's not you, I know you better"
"Why are you trying to look like an Arab?"
"It's the 90's, you don't have to dress that way, modernize."
"Aren't you hot with all those clothes on."
"That's Enough Already"
By a Muslim Sister
I am an American Christian raised woman. At the age of 23 I started learning about Islam, and eventually became Muslim (All thanks and praise to Allah). As a teenager and on into my 20's, I always made sure I looked my best, and actually I was voted best looking girl by my senior high school class. Full face of make-up, perfect hair, and always the clothes in trend. I had the best looking sports car, a great paying job as a hair designer, and I was always looking to have a good time. I was an independent woman, and was never questioned about any decisions I made, or criticized about anything I did.
When I became Muslim all that changed. Suddenly every one had something to say, I heard it all. I was no longer thought off as being able to use my adult mind the same way again. I was brain-washed, or I was doing it to please my husband. ("You can't change a person ." isn't that a common saying?)

As a Christian, I was religious on Sunday mornings for an hour, or when the lottery numbers were being picked I would pray -"please God let me win", or when a loved one was hurt I would try to make a deal with God. And ofcourse on holidays.

I am 28 now, and Islam is a way of life, my way of living. Everything I do, every minute of my day is now done differently. Especially, I pray 5 times a day . Believe me, you can not pretend to be a Muslim. These days I live a simple, peaceful, very moral life. I have no stress, no worries. My husbands' duty is to make sure I'm well cared for, and to provide for me. I am able to stay home and take care of my son according to my standards, not a baby-sitter's. I couldn't trade in his smiles for a pay check, his smiles are my pay. I read, I sew, I relax, and I have plenty of time to prepare fresh home cooked meals for my family.

Oppressed ? Yes, I was oppressed last week , when my cordless phone broke and I had to use a regular one. I wouldn't change my life now for anything. And if I was to divorce my husband, SURPRISE, I'm still going to practice Islam in the same manner I do now.

So if you are a friend or a family member of a convert to Islam, instead of being negative or against it, try to understand and respect the persons new way of life. And remember we are Islam. There is no question that will embarrass nor offend us. These people who are great scholars of Islam because they saw a movie, are not the correct source of telling you about my life.

I saw a few movies about Italians, so should I assume all Italian men are in the Mafia, deal drugs, kill people, and have girl friends on the side? NO!

Believe me, I have a lot more to write about my hardships and hassles of being a Muslim. None of which pertains to the religion itself, but to what even perfect strangers have said or done to me.

Oh yeah, did I mention I was also voted MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED by my high school senior class.

I feel as though I have.

Why Christians are sooooo prejudiced all the time!!!

First two thousand years Christians were prejudiced against Jews which culminated in the Holocaust of 6 million Jews right in the heart of Christian Europe.

Now they are turning to Muslims.

How much more blood do you need, Christians.

Why do not you read your own Bible????

Does your Bible says "Hate Jews and Muslims" or "Kill this million of Jews and then you can start killing Muslims" ????

Jesus(pbuh) did not say I am the way, John did, having many wives during Moses'(pbuh) was not against the commandments, perhaps you should have read them. Solomon(pbuh) had hundreds of wives and concubines yet I don't see Christians bashing him. The prophet(pbuh) didn't start a single war under his reign(good job at showing your source. When they fought the treacherous pagans, the Muslims said they'd set any prisoner if they taught 10 Muslims how to read. So much for convert or die. It's a just a lie, fabricated by orientalists to hurt Islam and it is not working.

You're rather the ethnocentric meat head, aren't you? Violent, militant Islamists are not necessarily representative of all Muslems, just as you are not representative of all Christians. You seem very confused about the origins of Islam anyway; I think you should study more, preferably from their perspective, before you decide to judge them (which the Bible says to avoid anyway).

The purpose of life is not to be happy all the time and have it easy. Our trials are there for a reason and if we bear them patiently then we may be one of the successful. It is good to be Muslim, even if it is sometimes unpopular or misunderstood. It is good to be Muslim even though others oppose you. It is good to be Muslim because you have a clear purpose in life.

We believe in Allah (the One True God) and that which is revealed unto us, and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them.” (Qur’an, 2:136)
