i took two last night 5/500 it put me to sleep

it can cause drowsiness, nausea, and even "euphoria" in some people. I take it for a herniated disc, but it don't affect me at all except for pain control. If you mix it with alcohol, they say the effect is better, but I never do because it can be dangerous. A former boss of mine knew a girl in college who took it and then drank a lot at a party that night. She went into a coma and died the next day!

It is an analgesic ( pain medicine)
some common side effects include drowsiness, relaxation, and pain control. If taken too often, it can cause constipation and if taken on an empty stomach, can cause nausea. Do not mix it with alcohol.

Actually the pain pill, Hydrocodone- aka Vicodin- can affect many people differently. Most people it will make them tired or groggy feeling...some people it will actually do the opposite and make them more hyper...don't know why but they do. (my son was the hyper one!)

personally, it doesn't affect me, but it makes a lot of people pretty drowsy and just kind of loopy.
