I was a pretty short kid until around 9th grade, and then I started getting a lot taller. However, in high school, from about late 10th grade all the way through 12th, until now (I'm in my second year of college, so cumulatively that's 4 years), I have had a horrible sleeping schedule. I'm a night owl so I go oto bed late into the am. In HS I had to get up early so I would only get 4-6 hours of sleep. These days I can wake up a bit later since my job and college schedule allow it, but I go to bed even later, so I'm still getting a small amount of sleep. Like I said I'm 19, male, and I'm about 5'6"-5'7" and 115 pounds. The 4 other men in my family are much taller (including my dad) so height is in my genes. I would like to get back on a normal schedule, and I'm wondering...by getting much more sleep and being on a healthier schedule, is it possible that I will grow a little more, or is it too late and I'm doomed to be a shorty? I'm kicking myself for all that lost sleep. :(

Guys can keep growing into their early 20's. Don't expect any miracles, though.

You have a two-fold question. First, as for your growth, some males keep on growing until their mid-20's. I was 5'8" in High School, played football and only weighed 150 soaking wet. Two years later after recruit training in the military I was 5'10", 185 lbs. I'm now 6' tall.
As for your sleeping patterns, you should be getting 6-8 hrs' sleep a night. You need to adjust your schedule so you can sleep longer. I don't think more sleep would affect your growth pattern, but it will definitely give you more energy to do other things such as more exercise, your appetite will improve, and you'll look physically better. Also drink lots of water. Water does wonders for the skin and cleans your system out.
I don't think you'll be a shorty like Danny DeVito. You're still young and you should expect to grow 3-4" more through the age of 20.
Now, go to sleep.

I don't think that your poor sleep schedule is going to have an impact on your total height. You may still grow an inch or two, maybe not, it's a bit different for each person. Height is certainly mostly genetically determined (though there is some effect of the enviornment, mostly it has to do with nutrition) but it's not as simple as "if my parents are tall I will definately be tall as well" - there are many factors at work.
If you end up 2-3 inches shorter than average for a male (around 5'9") it's not the end of the world. I would say don't worry about it, not much you do is going to change your height, you will probably never be able to break into the NBA, but you're already quite close to normal.

Seems have a big turn in a person's life. The external form of a person is ideal in the eyes of the planet when every feature is assembled in flawlessness or very nearly there. Of all of them, height represents an important role.
Height is not just lots is one of the critical standards in plenty of areas: sports, being a part of the security force, wooing someone, obtaining a work or just bolstering one's assurance therefore, if you want to be slightly taller you just have to use this program https://bitly.im/aL3L4 , grow taller 4 Idiots.
The combination of proteins with growth hormones, could certainly lead to a taller stature and this really is what you would study on this book, how you can set this mixture used because this system really work for nearly all people.

There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1.Stretching Exercises: - These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture.
2.Second, you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary inches” by improving your dressing coordination. You can get more information on specific exercises and fashion ideas by following the link below:

Good luck

Most guys are at their adult height by 19, or close to it, but you'll probably continue to put on weight and get broader as you get older. Do get back on that sleep schedule, though, it's good for everyone.

Whats your diet like? people with poor diets tend to be shorter and be in bad physical shape. The lack of sleep probobly doesnt help either.
