I, for one, believe that tattoos on women truly are 'tramp stamps', meaning only those women with poor moral fiber have them.

What does everyone else think?

whatever other woman do to themselves is how they want to be seen from the outside world. personally, i dont have any tattoos and will never get any, i do not believe that i need a tattoo to "express myself" or even prove to anyone who i am. I like clear skin, beautiful the way we were made :)

I think tattoos on women are sexy. Tattoos don't mean that someone is trashy, their actions do. I personally have three tattoo's and plan on getting more. I have great 'moral fiber' i am the least judgmental person i have ever come across and always think about other people, but i put myself first too. I'm not a whore, i have been dating the same guy for over a year and have not cheated on him. I am going to college and plan on being very wealthy in the future and i will retire young, because i am smart. Tattoos to me are just a means of expression without words. My tattoos mean something to me, and are not something you can find off any wall. You only live once, as long as you can still live your live with your tattoos then it should not be a huge issue.

I think that they are sexy!! just because you have tattoos does not make you trashy maybe they aren't for some people but I happen to think everyone is beautiful in their own way whether they have 1 tattoo no tattoos or are covered in tattoos tattoos are anything but trashy .. tattoos are somebody's art how can art be trashy?

I think they are sexy. I am a woman, and I have a few. They are a reflection of my personality, and my indivuality also. How is it any different then a woman getting their ears pierced?
I see tattoos as an expression. When I was 14, I would use this special makeup and paint a heart on my right shoulder every summer. It would tan around it, making a white heart. When I was 21, I went to get the real thing done. No regrets either. I have chose, thought out, and waited on every single tattoo I got. I didnt just say "Oh, that looks cute! I want that one!" I thought about each and every one for years before I got them. I wanted to make sure that it was something I really truly wanted on me for LIFE! At least its there forever, unlike many other things in life these days.
As to moral fiber... please. We have the freedom & right to decide what we want on our bodies. Maybe you need to go to a church & take a poll there. Bet there are a few that have tattoo in the temple of God, or whichever they choose to pray to. You would be surprised. Let me know if you find your mate that is tattooless, and never entertained the thought of it. As well as I bet you have been to the bar, and said I want her, she looks easy because she has a tat, and was shot down! lol

ah....so you know nothing about the person but their appearance will cause you to stereotype and basically be prejudiced...how open minded of you.

I do agree that some tattoos are bad looking and such but there are also those that look quite artistic and expressive. I think that it depends on the person and the tattoo that he/she has. I've seen some awesome tattoos on people that tell you an aspect of their life and things that are important....I've also seen some really bad ones or ones that were tattoed and the person didn't seem to think before getting tattooed....or didn't do their homework re: artists.

I don't feel that it's right to group all individuals under one umbrella however just because you chose not to have a tattoo. I also don't feel that a tattoo="poor moral fiber". You don't know anything about these individuals that you're talking about. That also shows "poor moral fiber" on your part for stereotyping people and being ignorant to those individuals that are different from yourself.

Also - why is it only wrong on women? If you're going to bring up this question....shouldn't you be saying that about EVERYONE then? Or are men the only ones "fit" to have tattoos?

think your questions out before you post them sweets....

I think it depends on the woman and the tattoo. I have tattoos, but you wouldn't know that from a quick glance. I also have a very good life and high moral 'fiber' as you like to call it. My social relationships are stable and well. I have a loving family and no people I know would ever say things like that (even if they didn't like tattoos, they don't say sh*t like that)

I'm sure there are women with tattoos who aren't decent people, but its not for me or YOU to decide who is good or bad (only they can decide that for themselves)

I think you are overly judgmental and unfair.

Some of the best people I know on this planet (men and women) have tattoos. Some of the worst people I have met, oddly enough, didn't have tattoos. I don't sh*t on people for NOT having them...so you shouldn't give people a hard time for being themselves. You want to know who has poor moral fiber, its you.

I have 2 fairy tatts on my back and everyone loves them. All the guys think its sexy/cute. The only people who didn't care for it was my mom (she got over it), and my dad thought tattoos in general on people looked trashy. I think it helps what the tattoos are and where they're at. I love my tattoos, but if you think all women with tattoos are trashy, i think you should add men as well. it shouldn't be bad for one sex and not the other.

I thought it's whats on the inside the counts!!

Hahaha!! Yeah, right....I am a noticiably inked female that is FAR from trashy, a mother, a librarian, and a productive member of society. Who the hell are u to judge someone solely on appearance? A few years ago I had no tats, and I am surely not a different person just because I have them now!

Your putting a stamp on all women who have tattoo's...not good. Some women have very nice, properly positioned tattoo's that are a symbol of who they are. I personally think a women who has them all over her entire body is a bit much, but who am I to judge?

Tattoos on women are sexy if they are done tastefully and are done by good artists most peoples wont look twice at a botch job on a man but on a woman i would more then likely look twice and think (esp if its an attractive woman) and think who was the artist that left that horrid mess on you for ever.

I have six tattoos as well as several body piercings. I am a mother and a wife. I have a very typical middle management, "cubicle farm" job. I am a productive member of society. I am a PTA officer, I attend soccer games and my husband's company fuctions. I am JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I just happen to prefer my art on me instead of on my walls. Does that mean that my morals are poor?
Or does it simply mean that you aren't willing to find out about a person before you judge them?
