(Before someone mentions it, I know the channel tunnel is in Folkestone but there are only so many characters you are allowed to write for a question)

pre book, there are sometimes deals available and you can also choose your time to reduce the price, if you just turn up you will only be able to get the standard fare for the time you arrive. Some times are very busy and you could wait a couple of hours especially during the holiday periods eg Easter, summer etc.

The last time I went it was cheaper to pre-book, also you know you will get a place.

PS Click the Ask button and you get 1000 characters for your question and 100 for your title, which only needs a few clue words anyway. e.g 'Channel tunnel booking..........'

Always pre-book, otherwise at peak times you could be stuck waiting for a vacancy. You can sometimes get better deals by booking in advance.

I would pre book. Then you know you're definitely going to get on one, especially if you're travelling at a peak time.

Pre-book because ther's difference in prices and you might save some money and time with it.
