White magic would be a placebo (from Latin, placere) and black magic would be a nocebo (nocere).

I believe that merely believing in something carries a lot of benefits. That's why studies must include a placebo control group. Although its unethical to test nocebos on humans, I'm an optimist and am quite sure there's some data buried in the Nazi's records. Oh, and Guantanimo looks pretty promising in this regard, as well!

Magic is just an ancient belief system that died centuries ago as we gained knowledge. It's still fun to think about and watch in movies, like Harry Potter, but I don't beleive in magic and I think I speak for the vast majority of people.

Kind of hard to answer... I don't actually believe in it... But I kind of believe the concept of it... Know what I mean... Hard to actually picture someone performing any kind of REAL magic... But if someone wants to believe it's real... than they may...

But I do want to know if there is Red Magic...
