Don't pay any attention to the first answer......what a jerk! A lot of women have this problem. Make sure you are eating healthy and getting 2,000-2,500 calories a day. You will need to include exercise as well. Try taking your baby for a walk in the stroller a few times a week. Also, I have found some great DVD's that let you include your baby in a workout. Visit amazon.com, babyfit.com, or momsintofitness.com. Also remember if you haven't worked out in a while it will take some time to get used to and incorporate into your schedule. Start out slow, and get some light weights for your arms. You don't need to exercise every day, just 3 times a week to start out. If you keep it up, you can gradually increase your workout time and you will see results!! Good luck

Hello. Many people don't know that a breastfeeding woman only needs about an extra 500 calories a day (from her pre-pregnancy diet). That's only equivalent to a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, an apple, and a glass of fat-free milk. But for the woman who wants to lose weight while breastfeeding, you need to go back to your pre-pregnancy caloric intake (eat like you did before you got pregnant)...and of course make sure that you are eating a healthy diet, with lots of water. That will make sure that your body can make enough milk.

Thats good that you are still breast feeding and a working mother too.I wouldnt worry too much about the weight at this time, wait till you have weaned the baby then worry about losing it.You could try not eating as much but dont go to extremes on that.Good luck.

Don't worry about your weight for now. You need to keep your calorie intake up, and eat very healthily. You can always make time for exercise, even if it's walking and just doing exercises at home.

eat less, drink more water.
it won't decrease milk supply, as long as you don't all of a sudden cut down too much calories and liquids.

You have to exercise..you have no choice. You also have to watch what you eat. Avoid refined foods and drink plenty of water.
