Certain brain and nervous system tumors are affected differently by different sorts of radiation treatment. For example Cyberknife and Gamma Knife use the same sort of radiation. It gets mentioned a lot for treating meningioma. Sometimes when a tumor is very difficult to reach, there is proton beam radiation.

You need to be very careful where your information comes from. One way to get an idea of what people are using is to look at postings on a support site with a patient message board and see what they are talking about. You can't depend on that but it may give you some ideas to investigate

The CyberKnife aka Gamma knife is used for brain tumors of limited size. Some invasive tumors into healthy tissue are probably not suitable candidates for stereotactic surgery. In addition, the number of tumors and total radiation already administered may limit the usage of the radiosurgery.

You're probably better off asking either the company that made Cyberknife or the doctors at the hospital who are familiar with it. You can also try asking the American Cancer Society.
