If the salad dressing is your home-made recipe then you can add up the calories contained of the following items to get a rough guess.

1 tablespoon (13g) rice vinegar - 2 kcal.
1 tablespoon (9g) sugar - 35 kcal
1 tablespoon (18g) soy sauce - 10 kcal
1 tablespoon (15g) sake - 16 kcal
salt - 0 kcal
1 tablespoon (13g) butter - 97 kcal
1 tablespoon olive oil / vegetable oil contains around 161 kcal

So the lesser oil to add in your salad dressing the lesser kcal. you would intake.

I would think you are safe and need not worry about the calories as chinese salad dressings do not rely on creams or sorts. There's plenty of c.s.dressing. For some, they would add plenty off sugar, so, it is really debatable. Just stick to the basics, ingredients consisting of ginger juice, rice vinegar, sesame oil & a light-low-sodium soy, you shoud be fine :)

Typically this salad dressing will be made of rice vinegar, oil, and sesame. I hope this answers your question.
