I suffer alone, and you are in for a world of pain?

Question

If you find that the world has turned,
And you are covered in darkness.

Squashed by humanity,
And looked down apon,

You feel like you can't take it,
You wanna breath.

Theres no way out,
Your sufficating.

Just remember me,
I ain't no emo
I don't cut
or crave pain.

But yet I am worse off then you,
But i don't feel the need to harm.

I draw and write.

And everyday I hide behind my fake smile,
I am afraid to be alone again,
I hide my feelings,
Lock 'em up tight.

So no one can see my pain.
No one knows the true me,

They can only see what they SEE.

They can't look past my looks,
All I want is to be me and be happy.

hiding the maggots which feed on your pain.
behind your tightened lips is a veil of darkness,
and where your dark thoughts parade.

let loose the maggots and out the words,
your pen is your knife and paper your skin.
it is the art of artists to draw blood,
be it with paint, ink or darkness within.

You sound a lot like me or I can see a lot of similarities in your writings compared to mine. I write as well. I also hide behind a fake smile & all I want is to know what it feels like to be able to feel happiness as others do. I am a manic depressive, though. I hope you are able to overcome whatever you are going thru or have been thru. Just wanted you to know~

You could put it in words i could not put it as you have put it so well.I feel you have written what i wanted to say.You gave words to my feelings.Everyday i hide behind my fake smile >i am afraid to be alone,i hide my feelings and lock them uptight.so no one can see my pain>No one knows the true me.They can only see what they see.How trueeeeeee. I know if my loved ones come to know about my feelings they would be equally in pain as i am so why punish them? so i have to lock them tight and give a fake smile.Let them feel that i amm the most happiest person.

I'm sorry that you feel bad but you should know that your not alone.. so cheer up and think about things that make you happy :) :) :)
