If I do not have a cleaner for it how can I remove scratches from a disc? And will the data on the disc be affected?

You can buy these pens that are amde for scraches on cd's. you just run the pen over them and it makes it better apparently

u cud take it to cd shops that have restoration machines... i had one with some pix of childhood that my dad had burnt and then deleted the main copy... was all scratched up... the people in the shop put it in a machine and it grinds off a little layer on the cd... makin it thinner of course but not significantly... u cant even tell a difference apart from da fact that its scratch free now! dont know if they have places like that where u are, but if u do, mine cost me like 2 bux... good luck!

and the pen dat the other lady is talkin about (waste of money)

Best buy sells hand cranked buffers that will fix that, about $20.00 or you can stop at a store that sells used CD's and for about $4.00 they will do it on theirs. I have done it more than once and it worked each time, I went to the used CD store.
