I have been left in the darkness,
No one can see.
See the pain devouring me.
Then I hope that one day,
One day soon,
I will be strong enough to pull through.
You look at me,
But all you see,
All you see is what I can't be.
There is more,
More to me than you see,
I am dieing inside.
My soul darkens,
My heart weeps.
I have no hope.
I have been disowned.
Misled.
Hurt and broken.
No one has discovered me,
No one looks at me.
I am alone in this world,
Becasue these people choose not to see,
See the real me.

It really hurts me deeply to read your writings 'cause some of the words I have written myself in my own poetry or in my diary. I do know exactly how you feel. I know you feel like nobody else out there could possibly understand but I do. So, you're not alone even though it feels that way. Sometimes you have to reach out even though it's hard. I know with me I want people to come to me & ask me how I'm doing & it doesn't happen. I have to go to them first & say hey I'm feeling like this today. It's hard I know to find someone that you can trust that will at least listen to you even if they don't understand why you are the way you are. I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone~

am sure some others who are in similar situations will appreciate the poem... i liked it as well... try summin with a cheerful ending so people in these situations, have something to look up to... a light at the end of the tunnel sorta thing... :-)

Good poem- but are you depressed? Did you lose someone? Are you truley alone? Doesn't matter your very good at expressing yourself with words keep it up!
