I've seen some guys try to play it off like they are talking with somebody else, when everyone knows who it is they are talking too. Then there are the whiperers, who try to talk the mushy stuff low, they think noones else is listening everyone hears everything though. What about those guys who check in every 10 minutes, jesus christ bro break the chains! Then there's the dreaded end of the conversation.
Guy: "ok hon I'm gonna let you go now the guys are waiting"
Girl: "I love you"
Guy: "uh-huh, I"ll see you later"
Girl: "what kind of a response is that, I"m not hanging up until you say it"
Guy:"c'mon hon, I'm with the guys"
Girl: "YOU BETTER NOT HANG UP WITHOUT SAYING IT!"
Guy's friends: "Dude tell her you lover her already and get back over here, don't forget to pick up your balls from the floor"
Guy (whispering)" I love you snuggles"
Girl: "awwww"
Guy (back with his friends): "yeah that was steve I was talking too"
friends: "yeah ok snuggles"
lol

When she calls, tell your friends that it is your girlfriend and walk off a short distance and talk to her.

Set your limits, let her know that in front of the guys you can not be all loving as when u are with her, let the boys know that when your girl calls u'll need to say those stuff to her, then if you decide to walk off to recieve her call they will understand. But i dont see anything wrong in sayin I love u to ur girl in front of ur friends. So decide where u think u can stop ( I can say "i love u" but not do the "i miss u, i miss u more" game) and let then know how u feel about all that, communication is the key. good luck :-)

Too funny. Poor guys. Being a woman is in many ways empowering when it comes to showing the old emotions. We never have to worry about stuff like that. I would say that you shouldn't worry about frontin' with your boys, but hey we all care a little what others think(at least friend wise). But the next time I talk to my bf on the phone I'm going to be a little nicer...lol

Jesus, what are you guys, 13?? You step away to take the call and say whatever you need to say and come back. I personally don't mix the two, so I don't understand the problem. Even if I said a few quick words to a girl with my friends there, they'd be more interested in what she looked like and if they knew her than hearing me saying "Goodbye Pookums, I wuv you!"

You should go ahead and talk to her like you would if your friends wasn't around because your friends are your friends and their always gonna rag on you about something so matter as well just talk normal they probably wish they had what y'all got anyway. Just be real. Good Luck! because their your friends and you already know what to expect so take it like a man!

Just tell her to call back later, and if she asks you to tell her to say i love you then say it if your friends care then they must not know how a relationship goes, but if they do then they should know how phone conversations go when your in the mushy gushy stage. cuz most likely they did it to. or tell you that you will call back later, unless your friends dont mind if you talk to her.

Must be a new relationship that they are in.
Year three, the wife is calling the friends to come get his fat azz off the couch and pry the beer from his hands!

Mate, hangup on her. You can sweet talk her the next time you see her in person. Don't let her do this or it'll become something you really hate about her. It'll become a habit she can't break. She's doing it to prove not only to herself, but to your mates, that she's the MOST important thing in your life. If she needs to do this, then she's not very mature and needs to grow up. If you love her, tell her that, but tell her to stop the childish behavior, because it's not condusive to a solid relationship and she needs to trust you more.
