I believe that people can make soul ties and that there are unholy ones, especially through sex. Sex is very intimate. In the old testament God uses adultery as an example of how His people made soul ties with others, falling into idol worship by becoming intimate with the others ways. They defiled the temple of God with idolatry. We as Christians believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. To have sex with anyone other than a married partner is to defile the temple of God. If we have sex with an unbeliever we are essentially defiling a Holy place, and yes anything that person carries on them will have an invitation to come in also.

That's not a Christian concept, it's an ancient Greek concept.
That's one reason why teachers such as Plato had sex with their students--they believed it would transmit part of their spirits, and their intelligence and wisdom along with it.

Have you read the two books by Rebecca Brown m.d., He came to set the captives Free and Prepare for War? She states in her books that demons can have sex with you when you masturbate and i believe you can pass spirits thru sex. also in the bible diseases were also called demons, so with stds.
