I like to dress "regular" - short sleeve tee, jeans etc, also grubby, ya know, big baggy hoody and "fat pants" and i also keep stuff in the closet for nice occasions, like nice semi-formal dinner dates, (mock neck zip up sweater over a blood-red front button long sleeve) and very formal events (downtown office meetings, etc. in a business suit). NOW.......can a guy do this without his girl being like "ok.....metro to cas. to slub"

I mean, i like a girl that can dress up nice and grub down, but does the same go for girls thinking about guys? do girls prefer a guy to be "just preppy" or "just casual"?

I think personal style is a reflection of your personality. Obviously, you are going to dress differently for different occasions, but basically it will be in the same taste, whether formal or casual, or business. If you are wearing all sorts of different things, for example lets say..... skater/surfer to hip hop to preppy/metrosesual, to goth. It may seem like you are trying to hard to make a statement, or "fit in", instead of allowing your clothes to reflect who you are or your mood or the occasion. That doesn't mean that you can't have different influences on your wardrobe and be versitle with style, just be careful that it fits the person who you are. If you stay true to this, you should be able to wear whatever you want with confidence and it won't come off fake.

You can, but it's unusual. It also means that you are a chameleon, which is something most people find extremely difficult to pulloff, simply because humans are creatures of habit: once they find a style they're comfortabl with, they usually adopt it and no other. I say this because I'm a chameleon myself and dress to suit the situation...I just don't do 'bagged-out" because it's too dificult to run if the need arises!

i like a guy to be him self. but it is always good if a guy can feel comfortable around home, and be able to dress up when need to be, i dont see anythink wrong with this im pretty sure that there is women that are the same, like me for instance im not going to wear my dresses and make-up when im at home, and doing the gardening, thats just not me. i dont need make-up anyway. but thats not the point i like to feel comfortable and i would think you would to.

I love a guy with style. Babe don't change every woman loves a man who has a good since of taste in every style and not be gay. Your girlfriend also knows this, and it is probaly bothering her that other females definetly notice.

I do it- different environments call for different attire. It's fun, and manipulative, which I like.
