He knows I am a mature, modest, and conservative girl....and a Christian so I am not going to sleep with him....he know that but he likes me and he smokes pot and is very liberal about sex and all of that.....so why does he still like me and want to have a relationship when he knows I wont put out?

And to be honest, there are ways and means. I had a friend at college who seduced a number of "good christian" girls...generally he found proposing did the trick....

Because, you will eventually crumble to your innate sexual desires. Just like most animals and humans do. Try not to think that you're a good girl. Just because you're still a virgin. That has nothing to do with being a good person or not. There are plenty of good pre maritally sexually active and even promioscuous people. Priests and nuns are cellibate and may never had sex. But, many Catholic priests are homosexual pedophiles.
You should be glad he likes you. Don't let him get away. Or you'll end up with a guy who will charm you with his virgin Christian disguise and end up cheating on you or abandoning you later anyway. At least this guy's honest and he's not BS ing you with no sex until marriage. You need to test drive your future husband before making a commitment. Would you invest in a car without test driving it out first ?

one of two things. either he really does like you, in which case you may be able to help him become a better person, or two he sees you as a challenge.
if he likes you, then things may work out if you like him too, besides all the down sides. stick with your stand on sex and drugs, and if he's serious he will shape up. there are several people I know that have had this happen.
some guys are slimebags though, and that whole good girl image really attracts them because they want to put you on their list of conquests. these tend to be fairly easy to spot once you know what you are looking for. we guys are pretty basic creatures on most levels.
I don't think I have to tell you that if he is the latter then time to go now. don't waste your time with a jerk, there are too many guys out there who are really looking for someone.
just watch it if you do go for him. it is all too easy to slip up, and from personal experiance it takes a long time to get yourself back on track.

Maybe he's trying to change and he figures that you can help him change, and be more like you. Cuz most guys just have that bad boy LOOK, when its not for real. He's just hiding. under the influence of his other crack head friends that he hangs out with. If not then he thinks of you as a challenge to accomplish, cuz he knows what a good person he thinks he might be able to change you. And in that case im with you dont let your guard done for some crack head fool.

Surnames are harder, perhaps something fairly gothic, like Willow, Rose or Locke. Morte, Malice(perhaps too darkish) Poe, like Edgar Allen Poe? Noir, or in keeping with possibility Dove... seem to gothic names and vampire-like memories for suggestions.

Because he knows you will put out. He is certain he's going to be bumping uglies with you. I agree with his thought process.
Women are women. One moment in time will make you see that he cares for you, and he probably does, and you will give yourself completely to him.
Also, maybe he wants a nice girl because he knows what scum exists out there? That is most likely the fundamental factor in his attraction to you.

guys usually like a challenge,he finds you attractive because you dont give in easily and that sex is easily avilable to him from others perhaps he like your company cause your an interesting person and he is learning something of your values,,and as he knows, he is not going to get any thing from you and has respected that he most probably just like you the way you are,

He thinks you will be forgiving of everything he does. Often, this is the case. It doesn't mean he doesn't really like/love you, just that he is a bit sociopathic and doesn't know proper behaviour. Don't believe you can do something about it!
