check out a mag called Biblical Archeology....they keep finding all kinds of artifacts, cities, objects that verify Biblical accounts...for example...the walls of Jericho have been found to have fallen exactly like the Bible says they did.
Consider the New Testament authors....most were first hand witnesses of Jesus' life and wrote down their accounts within about 30 years after...

Yes. The Bible was the first source that stated the earth is an orb, not flat. It also spoke of DNA when It said that anything needed to be known of man can be found in one drop of his blood. These are both now undeniable scientific facts. There are other places where the Bible stated what is now known scientific fact. In fact, through archaelogy and other means, science is constantly proving the Bible to be true today.

Yes as the description of the CREATION in the Bible and the BIG BANG ideas are so close that there is no real difference.both imply that something was there before and that there was a action that came from a motion. Either two random masses colliding or something speaking a word. The results would have been the same maybe.
The sites and names have been found to prove that they existed at one time or another. Also the people. And the existence of at least three "world " floods in the region that the bible covers.

Let's see... the Temple most definately existed, and blood sacrifice definately happened there. Jerusalem's mentioned a few times and I think we know where Jerusalem is, doesn't take an archeologist to find it, even some high-school drop out travel agent (note: not dissing on travel agents, some are quite educated) could arrange you a flight there.

Archeologists recently found two villages near where Soddom and Gemorah were purported to be found, and the two villages were destroyed by pyroclastic flows which would potentially appear as 'fire from the sky'.

But when you get into the miracles, no, not really. It's no different than Tom Clancy writing a novel that incorporates real news events -- just because some of the details are true doesn't mean the overall text is.

Both science and the Bible say the universe had a beginning, that we are all related, and that man came from slime. For more, there is a book written by a scientist called "Genesis and the Big Bang: The Discovery Of Harmony Between Modern Science And The Bible".

Not only is there scientific evidence to support Biblical truth, but also archaeological, historical, and textual proof, as well as fulfilled prophecies. Contrary to popular opinion, true science is not at odds with or a threat to Christianity. Who do you think created the laws of this universe? The "threat" comes from clinging to theories religiously, personal agendas, and unwillingness to admit that we don't know everything.

Here are some that may not be as commonly mentioned as others:

1) "For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised..." -Gen. 17:12

THE SCIENCE: God's command to circumcise Jewish boys specifically on the eighth day was no accident or random number. The important blood clotting vitamin K2 in blood is not manufactured in a baby's intestinal tract in normal amounts until the 5th to 7th day of their lives. A second element necessary for blood clotting is prothrombin. The presence of this element decreases in an infant for the first 3 days of its life, then suddenly spurts to a maximum level on the eighth day, after which it settles to its norm for the rest of the child's life.

2) "This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood." -Lev 3:17

THE SCIENCE: Why was God giving Moses such dietary laws? In relatively recent years the medical professions have been warning against the build up of cholesterol in our veins since it may cause clogging and a heart attack. A large source of cholesterol is animal fat. God knew this was harmful for us.

3) "Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement." -Deut. 23:12-13

THE SCIENCE: While some might view God's command as comical here, this command was given in order to protect them from diseases. Centuries later, in 18th century Europe, human excrement was cast into the streets of cities in ignorance, giving rise to epidemics of typhoid, cholera and dysentery.

Y chromosome Adam (points to common ancestry for all people) - although the time lines are unclear.

F haplogroup (Y DNA) - could point to a deluge (noah's flood) second wave of common ancestry.

Mesopotamia being the first great civilization is supported by science, I think.

Just a few that I think about from time to time.

HAHAHAHA...this ties in nicely to what I'm studying right now. Yes, there is medical proof: pork. G-d says not to eat it because it's unclean. Medical science has known that pork is VERY unhealthy for you. But, people continue to chow down on Babe.
