Most people have been exposed to chicken pox and have contracted the disease at some point. In some people, the disease is "sub-clinical," meaning that although the body developed antibodies to it and fought it off, there were not obvious symptoms. If you're really worried, get in touch with a doctor; he/she should be able to run a titer for antibodies, and give you a vaccine if it is negative.

I had chicken pox when I was very young, but it was not a big case. So when I was 13 I got chicken pox again and it was bad. I missed school for 2 weeks. If you ever get a small case of the chicken pox you know you will proably get them again sometime during your life.

if you haven't got chicken pox yet, it doesn't mean that you will definitely get it later in life. Although, if you're exposed to someone who does have it then you'll most likely get it. Chicken pox only happens once to someone, if something similar happens to them a second time, its definitely not chicken pox and you should get it checked out.

If you were not exposed to the virus when you were young, you wouldn't have contracted chicken pox. It is possible that you never had it, although I think most people do.
