My boyfriend has his playstation online, last night this chick on the game he was playing asked him to talk, and apparently he has been talking to her for a while, as friend. So why is he calling her hun etc, when he does not even say that to me? I asked him about it and he got all worked up, and go rel mad at me. Should I be worried?

I think this is a legitimate concern. This is coming from a man's point of view. If someone is in love with you, they still may have some fantasies. That is one thing. However, if he is striking up a conversation via phone, email, e.t.c., you need to be on your guard. As youth and still now, I think about a lot of things. Taking the next step in creating a dialog is nothing I would ever consider. Be very guarded.

He's flirting with the chick. He got all worked up because he thinks his flirtations are completely innocent. Yes, you should be worried, or at least concerned that he's flirting with other girls.

Is it cheating? Well, that could just be a matter of perspective. I say no, it's not cheating, rather he appears to be keeping his options open.

No worries. This is the way us guys are: we like a little variety on the dish, if you know what I mean. It doesn't have to involve a physical relationship, but probably will involve some flirting. It is natural for us to look over the horizon once in a while. Be cool with him about it, show your understanding to him. Try it, you will like the results! I promise. If you harangue him to death about it, he will want to spend even more time with his online friend.

If he got mad at you for confronting him with your concerns, I think that is a red flag. I just found out my boyfriend was cheating on me. I had suspicions and asked him who she was and if anything was involved...What did he do? Turned on me, telling me that he didn't deserve to live constantly under suspicion and doubts and that I owed him an apology for not trusting him more. Then I found him kissing her. When something more is going on, men tend to overreact and turn it on you, to ensure that you wont probe further or make him feel guiltier than he may already feel. But then again, not all men are the same.

So you decide.

Its not really cheating cuz hes hasnt even met her before, i think he just feels more close to her then you if he talks to her a lot. Its not that big of a deal just make him more preoccupied with you instead of his game, like set up more dates, and hang out with him more as a friend to talk to.

well at first i didn,t know but when you said he got mad,yes .The fact that he got mad is a good reason to think he is guility...men always get mad when they are guility...He wouldnt call her hun if he was my man,and he don,t even call you hun? sounds like hes the cheating kind.

It has been my experience that when anyone goes on the defensive right away, they are guilty of something. Try and just talk to him about this, don't throw in the towel yet.

When I read your question, I thought it was going to be about video games, but it was about boring instead. Next time spruce it up with an alien or something will ya?

I dont think he's cheating at least not right now. I just wouldn't let him get too friendly with this girl. Go online and talk to guys and call them sweet names too see how he likes it. Hey if he's doing it why cant you.
