I want to get out of a abusive family situation but I am really scared. What do i do? I hope that one day when I have kids they will never go through this.

You really need to talk with an adult that you trust. Is there an aunt or an uncle, grandma or grandpa you can talk to? Teacher? I feel so sad that you are subjected to that. I was raised in an abusive family, I hated to go home after school so I joined all sorts of sports. I never talked with anyone about it, just left as soon as I could.

First of all i guess it depends on how old you are, what the situation is, like if its with a spouse, or a parent. If its a spouse, then get support from the parents and get out. if its a family member then, you can always call the police and report it, letting them know how scared you are, they will help you out and get what you need. or maybe call the kids help line, or something like that. maybe get some help from a friend or their parents?

You need to find a crisis line to talk to someone confidentially to advise you. You can usually find these numbers in the front of the phone book- or can do a quick google dearch for your area domestic violence or crisis/help centers. Often, area mental health help lines are available 24 hours a day, and they can give good advise for area resources. This should be a safe way to get information and help. I wish you the very best.
