HI ZEZO...I used to live in Norfolk many years ago and I recall there was a chain of grocery stores called Farm Fresh..I'm sure they will have the buttermilk you are looking for. If not most all stores carry it and like the others mentioned you can make a substitute with regular milk you buy by adding vinegar or lemon juice any acid. After letting it sit you then can add it to the recipe like biscuits, cakes or a wash for dipping chicken in before frying it. Norfolk holds many memories for me especially the great seafood there. Have you even tried to locate it in the dairy (milk) section of your local grocery store? Its easy to find in any food store in the USA. the last I knew Norfolk, VA was still in the USA

It should be at your local grocery store. If you don't have any on hand you can substitute sweet milk. For every cup of buttermilk it calls for add 1TBL of vinegar or lemon juice. Example if your recipe calls for 1 cup buttermilk; pour 1 cup sweet milk in a measuring cup and 1TBL vinegar or lemon juice. Let it stand for 5 min. then add to your recipe.
