I recently had a rather nasty case of pink eye and although my eyes are actually better the skin around my eyes and on my nose is really dry and kind of painful. Anyone know something to help alleviate the situation, keep in mind I need to be careful around the eyes.

i followed this a few years ago when my face was windburned:
take some facial cream[moisturizer] like st ives,[im not sure what its called but it comes in a pink jar with a red top] and vitamin e and mix it and dab around your eyes and leave on for about 15 mins and then lay a warm towel around your eyes and gently wipe off. do this as often as necessary.

Aloe Vera. Buy an aloe vera plant. Open the leaves and use your fingertips to apply the pulp around the area where you're experiencing the pain and discomfort. It aids in cooling and healing quickly.

I know it sounds silly, but the old cucumber slices and cold tea bags actually do help. They have a lot of moisture in them. That's what you need most.
