Lucifer represents enlightenment. Some Luciferians believe in both Lucifer and God, but believe that it is God who is evil, and he is akin to the Demiurge in Gnosticism. Others Luciferians are neopagans who believe Lucifer to be a/the chief God among a pantheon of Gods. No Luciferians worship Lucifer as an evil entity.

There are very few Worshippers of Lucifer.
THAT is the OLD Angelic name for THE SATAN.
There are man many Members of the Church of Satan.
In fact, it is a Recognized Religion by the USA and there are even a number of Satanic Chaplins in the USA Militry Service.

Yes, people are always mistaking it for Satanism.
They view Lucifer [In the Christian mindset], as the first rebel. They side with rebellion, and other positive social causes. Very democratic.

oh, yes, i know this religion well. Named after Gunter Hans Lucifer, it was a sect of christianity begun in south-eastern Germany in the late 18th century.
