Not that I am aware of or have experienced myself. The hair may come a bit courser over many, many years, but as you age, some areas stop growing back altogether. I still use a razor to shave. You just have to keep up with it. I have never experienced harder skin or darker skin from shaving. If you want great legs, you gotta shave..........

Actually is softens and lightens the skin. However, it also causes men to grow large breasts

I shaved my legs and then when it grew back it was alot darker and thicker, so I say yeah it does.
