Yes you can do that. One way of doing it would be to download and install the best recovery tool. The one that i use is RecoverAll. There are a lot more of them.Dont get the trial versions. Get the free ones, there are a lot of them listed in

nope only possible way is to use programs like GetDataBack, I think they make the best file recovery software out there. They have two different versions for the two different types of Windows partitions. Ntfs and Fat. Also I would say to get the program right away and recover is quick as possible.

I am pretty sure it is not possible with the newer operating systems. Not sure what operating system you are using, but xp, and possibly 2000 have a program called system restore that will take you back to a previous time on your comp.
