It's important to say that tinnitus is a symptom and not a disease. Some people will have tinnitus because their Cochlea is damaged. And in a few, it could be caused due to hearing loss. But of course, the most common cause of tinnitus is exposure to loud noises. The noise can be a sudden burst, or it could be a constant banging that hits the ear drum and travels inside.

A good guide you can read about tinnitus and some good natural remedies can be found here: http://tinnitus.toptips.org

Yes absolutely. Your ears are in charge of collecting sounds, sending sounds signal to your brain. And that's not all your ears also help you keep your balance.

Their are three different sections:
The outer ear called Pinna
The middle ear: for vibrations
The eardrum which means "hammer" in latin

a constant ringing fire bell can eventually do some damage.

Hi there...

Listening to anything too long can damage your hearing. The best advice that I could give ya, is to grab a pair of ear plugs, and just keep them when the bell gets to be too much. Good luck!

Over time your hearing will get worse and worse. It happens to everyone. Listening to loud noises (such as the firebell) will only speed up the process at which you are loosing your hearing.

Deffinitely. It's very loud. Repetitive, loud noises can cause hearing loss of sensativity, and nerve damage.

So far I've been listening gun shots every week, luckily I'm still ok. And they sound worse than any fire bell.
