The mathematical probability of a SINGLE CELL coming about by chance is 1/10340,000,000, the fraction 1 divided by 1 followed by 340 million zeros! (Imagine the rest of the Universe)

Einstein on Meaning of life

What is the meaning of human life, or of organic life altogether? To answer this question at all implies a religion. Is there any sense then, you ask, in putting it? I answer, the man who regards his own life and that of his fellow creatures as meaningless is not merely unfortunate but almost DISQUALIFIED for life.

I hope that nobody goes and commits suicide after this... just ponder, there might be something ou there don't you think?

The chances that everything was created by nothing are 40 billion times lower than evolution, so I'll go with evolution.

Your mathematics are flawed. You are asking what are the odds of a bunch of cell components being thrown into a glass jar (figuratively speaking) and then suddenly forming a cell. If that were the case then you would be right. It would be impossible.

Now consider evolution. Millions and Billions of years. Zillions and Zillions of chemical reactions happening every millisecond. Things happen. Some things have a better chance of surviving then other things. The survivors can replicate themselves. More time passes.

And if that bothers you - try to come up with a probability of God just existing out of nothing with out a beginning fully formed. What would that be? 1 in a whole bunch I would guess.

We did not come from gorillas. We did not come from fish. They along with us have a common ancestor. There are many many many branches in evolution. You would do good to read some new material on the subject. There was recently a program on TV called "Was Darwin Wrong?" It explains in simple terms about evolution. I do not think that there is a meaning to live beginning. But as we have evolved into the humans that we are life takes on meaning. We should constantly strive for a better life, society and world.

Since something has to be created before it can start evolving. I would say the CREATOR of ALL THINGS laid the blueprints when it created the physical universe.
Either by creationism or the big bang theory's. Both are so close in description as to be the same. Both imply and action and motion. And to some extent a intention.

Gen 1:20-25

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

The obvious error is that the example statistic is calculated entirely
without reference to stepwise selections processes. Therefore, the
statistic is totally irrelevant to abiogenesis.
