I've been on Yahoo! Answers for a month. When the topic of religion comes up American Christians see God looking like the Greek God Zeus and Jesus like John Lennon (without glasses). Why? The biblical characters are from Africa and the Middle East. Is that concept so hard to swallow?

The biblical characters are from Africa and the Middle East. Is that concept so hard to swallow? If God made Adam in His own image then He must look human.

Wonder where that Idea came from and in to your pretty vacant head!
THE GOD is too big for Us to even Imagine!
JESUS is and was a Jewish man--looked Jewish and kinda RUDDY from the sun and hard work!

I wish I had those images . Zeus and Lennon would be a tremendous improvement; but I hardly agree from what i've seen they are not even close, to my dismay.
