why does there seem to be such a poliferation of hoochie mamas on tv nowadays?? i mean everytime you see a women on tv she is either acting like a whore or looking like one. show likes elimidate and the bachelor only enforce the sterotype that women are second class sex objects and nothing more. frankly i wouldnt care much myself since i have been married for years, but i do worry about my sons that will be out there soon looking for a decent , caring, intelligent women, not some little whore looking for a hand out. what do you ladies think???????????????

It is really sad to see what is influncing our teens these days. Boys and Girls are being lied to by the media.
There needs to be more shows which show the consequences of living a trashy lifestyle and the joys and benefits of a wholesome lifestyle.

Teens have very little support and guidence compared to the bombardment of the media and other teens who brag about being bad.

Teach your sons the value of a decent girl who has self esteem and more important virtues than body parts.

Sad isn't it. There seems to be so very little self respect among young girls and women. They either dress like whores or don't dress up at all. A lot of them run around in pj bottoms and t shirts or sweatshirts. They call each other bitches and whores and talk about dropping babies

Just think, The Girls who watch that stuff believe that that is how to compete to be better(worse).

Society is being sold a bag of goods which will destroy the fiber of family.

So goes the family, so goes the world.
This is how communism can win.
Our children and youth are being brainwashed from the media and even in school.

All kinds of behaviors are being taught as normal and that no one should judge anyone else. But When did we loose the right to judge right from wrong and good from bad?

Hopefully real life isn't as glamourous and outrageously exaggerated as it is on tv. Most people I know dress appropriately and are anything but those on tv. I am glad though for your concern. I hope your sons turn out to be such fine gentlemen.

I completely agree with you... And I hate to admit that TV isn't the only place where women are portrayed as slutty sex objects. The truth is that as the media continues to promote this trash, the younger generations will continue to follow it. Just protect your boys from what you know is harmful to them, and teach them how to be good men. Good, sincere men will attract honest, good women. Instill morals in their hearts starting when they're young, and keep those reminders constantly in front of them. If you guide them, they'll listen to you and trust you. :)

because unfortunately sex sells and what is portrayed on T.V. is feeding on the fantansies of our young people. Kids need to be educated by their parents as to what is fantasy & what is reality. The best thing is to not have a television in the home which that would be weird.

I totally agree. It's shameful to see the limits go to to exploit themselves. And for what? Recognition, fame, self esteem? i don't see how dressing to expose most of your body makes you feel confident especially towards other women and men. How can men respect us when all they see on tv is these women pretty much selling themselves to hear someone say they are beautiful. It's sad that we try to fish for compliments when really its the men who give us compliments when we are dressed in just sweats. But I guess in our society sex sells, and its sad because thats what girls growing up in this age are going to believe.
