why does there seem to be such a poliferation of hoochie mamas on tv nowadays?? i mean everytime you see a women on tv she is either acting like a whore or looking like one. show likes elimidate and the bachelor only inforce the sterotype that women are second class sex objects and nothing more. frankly i wouldnt care much myself since i have been married for years, but i do worry about my sons that will be out there soon looking for a decent , caring, intelligent women, not some little whore looking for a hand out. what do you ladies think???????????????

Truth be told, that kind of garbage is put on TV because the producers know it will sell, and thereby up the ratings. Hence it has become pervasive in the media. I don't know how old your sons are, but if they are still in their childhood or adolescent years, try pulling the plug on the TV and taking them out to see the real world. If they are older, there is a very good chance they'll see real women when they get out into the real working world. Don't give up hope.

Television caters to the lowest common denominator. What is on TV is there because networks go for ratings, and people unfortunately watch things that cater to their flesh. Got it?

I LOVE that you can put locks on your television to block such programs. 7th heaven is cute, I like the discovery and history channels, and there is a lot of other good programing out there. I really despises what is on MTV, though.
I want a man that I can connect with and love: I KNOW! I'll go on a reality television program! Doesnt make sense to me either.

All I can say is that ulimately, your sons will look to their own mother as an example of womanhood. And to make it even more likely that they will be drawn to her example of what a lady should be is their perception of how you appreciate your wife.
